Vendor requirements at Cincinnati Municipal Airport Lunken Field

Cincinnati, OH. LUK. Sponsor: City of Cincinnati (Department of Transportation and Engineering, Aviation Division)

Lunken is a general aviation airport owned and run by the City of Cincinnati, and the Airport Manager negotiates and administers all tenant and use agreements. The City publishes no minimum standards, vendor permit, insurance schedule or badging rules online. Call the Airport Manager (513-352-6340) and the FBO you will work for before the first job.

Mostly set by agreement Last reviewed

Permit to operate

No general vendor permit was found in the published documents. Confirm with the airport before your first job.

Fee: Not published.

The Aviation Division collects rent and operating fees and keeps emergency contacts for all permit holders, so permits exist, but no permit type or application was found online.

Insurance minimums

The airport does not publish fixed insurance limits for vendors. Limits are set in each permit or agreement, so ask the airport or your hosting FBO for the exact numbers.

Working under an FBO or tenant

FBOs are Signature Flight Support (North and South) and Waypoint Aviation. The City's list of Lunken businesses includes three aircraft detailers and more than ten maintenance and avionics shops, so detailing and maintenance companies do operate on the field, but the basis (lease, City permit or FBO arrangement) is not published.
