About ClearedVendor
ClearedVendor is built by people who work in business aviation and have spent years on both sides of the vendor paperwork problem: asking for it, sending it and filing it.
Why it exists
Compliance paperwork moves down a chain. Customers set standards for FBOs, FBOs and airports set them for vendors, and vendors answer the same requests over and over. Almost all of it travels by email and lives in folders nobody checks until something goes wrong.
We think that record should be kept once, kept current and checked automatically, so everyone on the ramp can see who is cleared to work.
What we will and won't do
- We stay independent.
- ClearedVendor is not owned by an FBO chain, an operator or a vendor, and every business on it is treated the same.
- We never rate vendors.
- No reviews, no rankings and no lead generation. The platform shows whether requirements are met, nothing more.
- We hold as little sensitive data as possible.
- Background checks and drug tests are recorded only as passed, with a date and the employer's confirmation.
- We flag, we don't certify.
- We show what's on file and what's missing. Coverage decisions stay with you and your broker.
